This event is the first in our series, Living in the Tensions: Artificial Intelligence and Human Free Will. MJC received a grant to participate in the Scientists in Synagogues program, awarded by Sinai and Synapses. We welcome Dr. Julia Stoyavich, who is the Director of NYU's Center for Responsible AI. She has an extensive background in Computer Science & Engineering and Data Science. Dr. Stoyavich has co-authored over 100 academic publications, AND she is a co-author of the "We Are AI" comic book series, which is geared toward a general audience of science enthusiasts.
