Genea Moore originally joined Midway Jewish Center team in 2017. After spending some time in Atlanta, she was thrilled to return in February to once again serve as Executive Director. As the third and final point of contact in the office, Genea plays a vital role in aligning operations with Midway's mission and values. She serves as a key connector within the community, fostering relationships and supporting the efforts of clergy, staff, and volunteers. Having been with Midway for several years, Genea brings valuable experience to her role. She is grateful to be part of a supportive community where she actively contributes to strengthening Jewish life at Midway. She remains dedicated to advancing her expertise and making a meaningful impact in her work. Outside of her role at MJC, Genea enjoys spending time with her family, especially cooking for them, and traveling. 

Tali Medwed

Tali Medwed joined the Midway Jewish Center team in 2023 for 6 months as part of a co-op experience in college, and is happy to be back! After graduating from Northeastern University with a BS in Business Administration, she returned to MJC as the synagogue's Executive Assistant. As second point of contact, Tali plays an integral role in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, handling various administrative tasks, and ensuring effective communication with members. Tali especially likes the warm community, the meaningful work environment, and the opportunity to contribute to Jewish life at Midway, and is excited to learn, and grow in this role. Outside of work, Tali enjoys baking, spending time with family and friends, and traveling. 

Summer Walters

Summer Walters joined the Midway Jewish Center team as the synagogues Administrative Assistant in December 2024. As first point of contact for many, she brings a warm, welcoming presence to the front desk and on the phone. In her role, she supports daily operations and coordinates communications with a strong sense of organization and positivity. A graduate of the Schechter School of Long Island, Summer is especially grateful for the welcoming Midway community, the supportive and purpose-driven work environment, and the chance to play a meaningful role in Jewish life at MJC. She is excited to continue learning and growing in her role. Outside of work, Summer enjoys spending time with friends and family, going to the gym, and traveling. She has loved getting to know the Midway community and looks forward to deepening those connections in the future.
